First real transfers

Wazzup everybody still flexing out here in ghana hope you all haven't forgot about me. I am sending this email today because the internet and the power is rough out here. This week i sent my father off to his new area and got my second companion. Elder jacobson went to a zone called sonyani with one of the missionaries that i came out with. He is enjoying paaa. The area he is in has a lot of bush and its outside kumasi so hes happy. Ill probably stay in kenyasi for just one more transfer then hopefully go to the bush. The bush is so much better than the city. My new companion is cool. Everyone thought I would get a super apostate companion probably from africa but i got the complete opposite. Hes from scotland and he works hard. We do a lot of contacting now which i do not like at all but it is good i need to learn to enjoy it. They whitewashed the other area in my district so i am all alone now. The other elders are cool though. Elder brimhall has one transfer left so he is asking me if i know where to find all this stuff and of course i do I have a man for everything. The other elder is elder adibesin from nigeria. I havent talked with him much but he has been in some of the hardest areas so hes excited to come flex with us. 
On monday we had a zone activity we just played small games then we went to our apartment to wash but we had no water then the rain hit hard and the power went out so we traveled to the zone leaders but the traffic was to bad so we walked in the mud in flip flops to their apartment (about 30-45 minutes). It was probably the worst P-day i have had so far.

This week was hot. Last week we went to a members house to help her fetch water. We had to carry buckets to a pipe not super far away but a nice walk then carry them back full of water. The natives here just carry it on their head but I dont like that too much so I put it on my shoulder. After we fetched 5 buckets I felt like I was going to pass out but I couldnt let the member see that so I continued until we carried a total of 7. My held a lot of dirt toward the end. We started the week with a wonderful lesson with sister Lydia who was taught by missionaries before but she didn't care so she didn't remember anything. She met someone who changed her view on the book or mormon so she decided to read it and came to church. When we went there so was so receptive to everything we taught and was so excited to learn.  We then had to prepare the apartment to receive two new missionaries. Its a Boy

Last week monday after we had returned to the apartment we were cleaning some small things when we got a call from our mission president. It threw me off and I was not prepared for it at all. I answered and he wanted to speak with me and my companion on speaker. He told us that because of the situation in Liberia we need to make room in the mission for 7 missionaries coming from the MTC so my companion went on emergency transfer and I was called to train. He told us we would be leaving on Wednesday to travel to Kumasi.  Tuesday we prepared to leave by saying goodbye to some members and my companion packed. We stayed the night at the Zone Leaders to get up at 4 the next day to get on a bus to Kumasi.  We arrived in Kumasi and went to the stake center of my last area so it was nice seeing it again. I met my son there and we arranged for everyone to travel to their areas. With my area being 7 hours away we stayed at the mission home for the night. MLC ...
