This week tuesday we had zone conference so wednesday we had interviews after interviews we had exchange with the zone leaders. I went back to my area on Thursday so I didnt sleep in my own bed from sunday to thursday. Then sunday was stake conference so we came back and we will be here until tuesday so I will spend 5 days on a mat in the last week. It has been an interesting and tiring week. Thursday was my companions birthday though so when he was on the phone with his mom I grabbed a water sache bit off the tip and sprayed him. It is a mission tradition to soak the missionary when they wake up on their birthday but becuase i was in another area I had to wait until the night but i got him good dont worry. In my interview with mission president he asked me if i have any plans for thanksgiving. I was confused becuase i didnt even know that it was this week. Ill probably go to a members house and chop some pigeon instead of turkey. Possible get a turkey egg to ch...

Happy 4 months to me today. I keep thinking "man its been 4 months already" then I think "wow its only 4 months" So im in a strange place with that. I feel like I know my area like the back of my hand now. I've got my people, my shops, my soccer pitch, etc. Being in one place everyday for 4 almost 4 months makes you learn a lot about the place. When I was with elder jacobson everyone would call to him. They all knew his name and so they would talk to him. Now its the same but with me. I have people yell "Elder Hernandez" I look and greet them and keep walking. Elder Surtees asks me if I know them and I say that I have never seen that person in my life. People know us in this area and it makes a little kids day when I give them knuckles in front of all their friends.  This week we started to pump the water anytime we saw someone getting water because they have to do it multiple times to fill one big bucket at their house and carry it there and back....

Wazzup everybody still flexing out here in ghana hope you all haven't forgot about me. I am sending this email today because the internet and the power is rough out here. This week i sent my father off to his new area and got my second companion. Elder jacobson went to a zone called sonyani with one of the missionaries that i came out with. He is enjoying paaa. The area he is in has a lot of bush and its outside kumasi so hes happy. Ill probably stay in kenyasi for just one more transfer then hopefully go to the bush. The bush is so much better than the city. My new companion is cool. Everyone thought I would get a super apostate companion probably from africa but i got the complete opposite. Hes from scotland and he works hard. We do a lot of contacting now which i do not like at all but it is good i need to learn to enjoy it. They whitewashed the other area in my district so i am all alone now. The other elders are cool though. Elder brimhall has one transfer left so...
