Yo Yo Yo what up everybody. Its your boi Elder hernandez emailing you from my first P-day in the MTC. I left last Wednesday at 9 PM and got to the MTC about 9 PM ghana time on Thursday. The first flight was niiice. i was in the middle row with an open seat next to me and a girl from denmark next to that seat. i figured that was the last time i could actually talk to a girl for two years so i was talking to her the whole 10 hour flight. we got to the amsterdam airport with around an hour and a half to spare so we took our time getting to the next airport and everyone thought we were crazy because we were a group of 34 young men in white shirts and ties walking around in one big group. Our flight had 2 missionaries from arizona 2 from california one from idaho and one from saudi arabia. the rest were from all around utah. Wazzup everybody still flexing out here in ghana hope you all haven't forgot about me. I am sending this email today because the internet and the power is rough out here. This week i sent my father off to his new area and got my second companion. Elder jacobson went to a zone called sonyani with one of the missionaries that i came out with. He is enjoying paaa. The area he is in has a lot of bush and its outside kumasi so hes happy. Ill probably stay in kenyasi for just one more transfer then hopefully go to the bush. The bush is so much better than the city. My new companion is cool. Everyone thought I would get a super apostate companion probably from africa but i got the complete opposite. Hes from scotland and he works hard. We do a lot of contacting now which i do not like at all but it is good i need to learn to enjoy it. They whitewashed the other area in my district so i am all alone now. The other elders are cool though. Elder brimhall has one transfer left so...
Greetings from Accra, Ghana! We are pleased to report that your missionaries arrived safely tonight at the Ghana MTC. They look tired but happy (pictures attached). We’re delighted to welcome them. We love them already! They join a group of 160 missionaries from 25 countries for this 3-week cycle. We have missionaries from homes in Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Samoa, Argentina, the Marshall Islands, countries all over Africa, and other locations. The work grows across the world. We’ll ask them to email you tomorrow (in about 12-14 hours) to let you know more about their trip. This is a remarkable place to serve! The Church is growing rapidly with people who are faithful, strong, and committed. It is special time and the Lord’s hand is over this area. Thank you for your support and love. These good young disciples are in the care of our Living Lord. This we know. ...
