Tamale Tamale

This week was hot.
Last week we went to a members house to help her fetch water. We had to carry buckets to a pipe not super far away but a nice walk then carry them back full of water. The natives here just carry it on their head but I dont like that too much so I put it on my shoulder. After we fetched 5 buckets I felt like I was going to pass out but I couldnt let the member see that so I continued until we carried a total of 7. My held a lot of dirt toward the end.
We started the week with a wonderful lesson with sister Lydia who was taught by missionaries before but she didn't care so she didn't remember anything. She met someone who changed her view on the book or mormon so she decided to read it and came to church. When we went there so was so receptive to everything we taught and was so excited to learn.
We then had to prepare the apartment to receive two new missionaries. They split our area so we now have 4 in the apartment and 4 at church each sunday so it's nice to have help in the work.
Sunday I was craving Fufu so i told a member i would buy the food if she cooked it. To make Fufu you boil yam then pound it together with a big stick while someone turns it. I've never turned it before so I said I would turn (drive). It was pretty fun. While the person is pounding you grab a side and fold it over before they pound. Its somehow scary that they will hit your hand but we did pretty good when we got in a rhythm.
